35 GT RMRS generators installed in pilot boats

We present this large project in which six generators for pilot boats were installed.

We refer specifically to three ships with two gensets in each. The model chosen was the 35 GT which offers 28 kW - 35 kVA at 1500 rpm and 50 Hz.

This marine generator is ideal for work applications where high energy demand is required during constant use. Moreover, the generator sets of this project are RMRS certified confirming their high-quality performance.

These vessels are used by Tanzania Ports Authority. Boats were manufactured by Southern Engineering Co. Ltd, a shipyard based in Mombasa, Kenya and classified and certified under Bureau Veritas. The hull is made of steel and the wheelhouse is made of aluminium. All of them are equipped with the most modern safety and navigation equipment and can carry up to 12 pilots in all weather conditions and can attain a speed of 21 knots.
