The RSQ 475 A is a rigid fast rescue craft designed for service in the most demanding environment and welded of profiles and plates in marine grade aluminum alloy 5083 (AlMg 4.5).
The craft is of a fully planning design with a deep V-bottom construction and competent to be safely launched and retrieved under adverse weather and sea conditions. The strength of the craft is sufficient to withstand all normal forces encountered under normal use of the craft at maximum speed. The RSQ 475 A is designed, built and equipped to comply with the following requirements: Council Directive 96/98/EC of 20 December 1996 on Marine Equipment as amended by directive 2007/5/EC, issued as Directive on Ships Equipment: Annex A.1, item No. A.1/1.20 and Annex B, Module B in the Directive. SOLAS 74 as amended, Regulations III/4, III/26.3, III/34 & X/3, LSA Code, 2000 HSC Code, 8.1 and IMO MSC/Circ.809. It is also approved acc. the latest amendments with a person weight of 82.5 kg each person.
